RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.  It's a way to read a lot of news stories quickly on the internet. 

You will see little orange squares at various pages on this website.  The one here  gives you a feed to all the new articles on the front page of the website.  The link can then be viewed in Internet Explorer "Favorites" under the tab "Feeds".  Some email programs also have RSS news readers.  As new stories are added, the your application is updated with the latest news titles.  If you find an article of interest, click to read more.
