Nancy Sue Ference Plym, 60, of Mission East, Niles, MI, died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday, November 5, 2009, in Tanglewood Trace, Mishawaka, IN, peacefully in the company of her daughter and best friend.

She was born on August 12, 1949, in Niles to Norbert Bernard and Rose Kulesia. She graduated from Brandywine High School in Niles, and had lived in Mishawaka for 23 years.

Nancy was a member of Granger Community Church. She was on the Board of Directors for the Niles Optimist Club, was active in Relay for Life and was the Childhood Cancer Campaign Chairman. She was also a volunteer election poll worker and with Mobile Meals. She enjoyed knitting.

She first married Kenneth, Jarman, and later married Thomas Ference. On October 7, 2005 in Niles, she married Andrew J. Plym who preceded her in death on June 26, 2007.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jennifer J. Farber; grandchildren, Madison, Sierra and Nicholas Farber, all of Bloomington, IN; mother, Rose Marie Moore of Mishawaka; brother, Tom (Barb) Kulesia of Middlebury, IN, and best friend, Peggy Halfacre of Buchanan, MI.

The funeral service for Nancy S. Ference Plym will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2009 in Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, with Rev. Dan Puckett of Granger Community Church Pastoral Care officiating. Burial will be at
Silverbrook Cemetery, Niles.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
