Henry Amon

March 18, 1864 – Feb. 25, 1956

NILES – Henry Amon, 91, of 1611 North 12 Street, died Saturday evening in Mercy Hospital  in Benton Harbor after several years of illness.

He was born March 18, 1864 and is survived by three nieces, Mrs. Otto Schenk of Detroit, Mrs. Gertrude Weltzein of Niles and Mrs. John Lockey of Buchanan and two nephews, Fred Amon of South Bend and William of Elkhart, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Kiger Funeral Home, with Dr. T. M. Greenhoe of the First Presbyterian church officiating. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
