Fred Van Dyke, 63, of 1242 South 13th street, did at home Thursday at 5:30 p.m. after a 10-day illness.
He was a retured[sic] employe of the French Paper Mill.
He was born in Niles Oct. 13, 1890 and spent all his life here.
On June 11, 1913, he married Carrie E. Whitney who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Miller of Niles; three sons, R. Peter Van Dyke and Donald Van Dyke, both of Niles, and Frederick Van Dyke, Willow Run; nine grandchildren and a nephew, George Van Dyke of Niles.
Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home where the Rev. L. George Beacock will conduct services at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
