WILLIAM SCHULTE, ILL TWO DAYS, DIES

Native of Niles Stricken; Funeral Services Wednesday, 2:30

 

Ill for only two days, William C. Schulte, lifelong resident of Niles, died at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Pawating hospital.  He was 55 years old.

The Rev. T.O.Lee of the First Methodist church will conduct funeral services at 2:30 o'clcok Wednesday afternoon in the Rutherford funeral home. Burial will be [in] Silverbrook cemetery.

Born in Niles, Mr. Schulte lived at 10 South St. Joseph Avenue. Prior to his illness he operated a gasoline station.

He leaves his wife, the former Mayme Young whom he married in Niles in 1904; a brother, Floyd Schulte, South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Floyd Bowerman, South Bend, and a half-brother, Robert Bretschneider, Niles.

Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and at the Schulte home from Tuesday morning until 10 o'clock Wednesday morning.

SCHULTE SERVICES

Funeral services for William C. Schulte, who died Sunday morning in Pawating hospital, will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the Rutherford funeral home. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Friends may call at the Schulte home.

SERVE AS PALLBEARERS

Herman Bauman, Alex Henderson, William Knott, Roy Cramer, L.O. Bates, and Eugene Gardner served as pallbearers this afternoon for the funeral services of William C. Schulte. Rites were conducted in the Rutherford funeral home by  the Rev. T.O. Lee. Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery. Mr. Schulte died Sunday afternoon in Pawating hospital following a brief illness.
