JOHN MARTINSON, 78, DIES IN HOME
John Martinson, 78, a resident of Niles, 32 years, died this morning at 1:45 in his home after an illness of two years.
A native of Oslo, Norway, where he was born July 22, 1865, Mr. Martinson was married 51 years ago to the former Matilda Schjoll, who survives. He was employed by the Garden City Fan company.
Surviving with the widow are seven children, Mrs. Harvey Crouch, Miss Joan Martinson, Fred Martinson, Nils Martinson, Mrs. William Grafford and Mrs. Samuel Foley; all of Niles, and Mrs. Glen Waldorf, New London, Ohio.
He also leaves a brother, Oscar Martinson, Niles.
Friends may call in the Pifer funeral home where services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 by the Rev. J. Kenneth Hoffmaster, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.
