Harry W. Stark, 84, of 732 Hickory St., died at 8:04 p.m. Monday at Pawating Hospital following an extended illness.
Mr. Stark was born July 23, 1895, in South Bend, and was a lifetime resident of the Niles area. He was a World War I veteran of the U.S. Army and a 50-year member of the St. Joseph Valley Lodge Number 4, Free and Accepted Masons. He was retired from the Studebaker Corp.
On Sept. 1, 1917, in South Bend, he married Helen J. Smith. She survives, along with several nieces and nephews in the area.
Full Masonic Rites will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Halbritter Funeral Home by members of the St. Joseph Valley Lodge. Burial will follow in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the Halbritter Funeral Home.
