Harry Wurz, 78, of 1926 N. 5th St., died Wednesday at 8:20 p.m., in Pawating Hospital after he had been ill for five months.
Mr. Wurz, a retired New York Central Railroad employe was born Oct. 8, 1888, in Buchanan, and had lived in Niles since 1891.
He was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ, the Sumnerville Grange, and a life member of the Niles Elks's Lodge.
His survivors include: two sisters and one half brother, all of Niles, Mrs. Charles Meyers, Mrs. Rudolph Geideman and Henry Korman.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3 p.m., in the Halbritter-Swem Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlan E. Schlundt officiating.
Burial will follow in the Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the Halbritter-Swem Funeral Home.
