Mrs. Devona Couch, 84, 0f 533 Lake Street, died at 10:50 a.m. today at Pawating Hospital after an illness of six years. Born Aug. 29, 1872 at Bangor,she came here from Ypsilanti in 1906. Her husband, Charles, died May 15, 1943. She was a member of Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Lena Rowe, Watervliet; Miss Nellie Couch, South Haven; two sons, William, of Gary, Ind., and Charles, of Niles, and a half brother , Walter Hubbard, of Bangor.
Friends may call at the Kiger-Halbritter Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. John MacLachlan, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Silverbrook.
