Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. today in the Pifer Funeral Home for Emerich Kemeny, 78, route four (West River Road), Niles, who died Saturday in Pawating Hospital following a three-day illness. The Rev. John Marvin, minister of education for First Presbyterian Church, officiated, and burial was in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Mr. Kemeny, a retired sales representative for the Eastman Kodak Co., was born June 24, 1883, in Hungary, and came to Niles from Detroit in 1957.
He is survived by his widow, Olive; a son, Donald Kemeny, West River Road; a granddaughter; two brothers, William s. Kemeny, Parma Park, Ohio, and Julius Kemeny, Cleveland, Ohio, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Korda, Cleveland, Ohio.
