MRS. ANNA MADDEN DIES WEDNESDAY
Following several years of illness, Mrs. Anna B. Madden, 65, of 1221 Oak street, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday night in Epworth hospital, South Bend.
Mrs. Madden was the wife of James L. Madden, former partner in the Madden and Taylor Broadway market.
She was born in Heyworth, Ill. Feb. 1, 1880, and came to Niles from Chicago 30 years ago. She was married to Madden in Bloomington, Ill. on Nov. 30, 1907.
Surviving are the husband; a son, William Madden, Niles, a granddaughter, Virginia Madden; a sister, Mrs. Anthony Fogler, Heyworth, Ill., and two brothers, Ben Tobin, Chenoa, Ill., and Floyd Tobin, Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral srvices will be conducted at 2 pm. Saturday in the Rutherford funeral home by Dr. Guy W. Simon. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
