Bruce F. Earl, 69, of 1349 East Donald street, South Bend, died at 9 a.m Thursday at Elkhart, Ind., General Hospital after an illness of several months.
He had been employed by the Mastie Asphalt Corp. at South end several years. He was born Oct. 16, 1884 at Niles.
Survivors are a son, Rex A. Earl, Elkhart; two grandchildren; five brothers and sisters, Mrs. Elva Williams, George W. Earl and Mrs. Bess Augustine, all of Niles; Mrs. Leslie R. Smith, Barron Lake road; William A. Earl, Washington, D.C., and Ted R. Earl, South Bend.
Friends may call at the Zell- Hartzler Funeral Home, Elkhart, where the Rev. R.L. Johnson, pastor of the First Nazarene Church, will conduct services at 1:30 p.m., CST, Saturday. Interment will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
