Clair Peel, 43, of 521 North Third Street, died at 6 p.m. Wednesday at his home.

Peel was born July 16, 1911, in Hollsopple, Pa., and moved to Niles four years ago. He was employed at the Niles Cabinet Company.

Surviving are: his wife, Jennie; a son, Clair Jr., with the United States Air Force in San Antonio, Tex.; two sons and a daughter, Leon, Carol Ann and Harold, all at home; eight brothers, William, Harold, Fred, Wesley and Jack, all of Marsteller, Pa., Earl of Erie, Pa., Olander, of New York City and brownie, of Commodore, Pa.; six sisters, Mrs. Martha Dutton, of Niagrara[sic] Falls, N.Y., Mrs. Lillian Krupa, of Marsteller, two other sisters in New York City and two others in Marsteller.

Friends may call at the Pifer Funeral Home here where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. T.M. Greenhoe, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.

DEATHS: PEEL RITES POSTPONED

Services for Clair Peel, originally scheduled Saturday, have been postponed until Monday to allow faraway relatives to attend. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Pifer Funeral Home by the Rev. T.M. Greenhoe of the First Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
