NILES--Mrs. Blanch L. Phillips, 96, of 40 S. Third St., died t 5:10 a.m. Monday in Morton-Plant Hospital, Clearwater, Fla., after a three-day illness.
Mrs. Phillips was born Aug. 15, 1874, in Pokagon, and had lived in this area all her life before moving to Florida three years ago. Her husband, Charles, died in 1936. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include a daughters, Mrs. Frank (Beatrice) McCally of Indian Rocks Beach, Fla. and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Halbritter Funeral Home, with the Rev. John R. Wyngarden of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
