DROWNING VICTIM'S FUNERAL SET MONDAY

Earl Overly to Be Buried in Silverbrook Cemetery; 

Rites at 2 P.M.

Funeral services for Earl Overly, Niles business man who drowned in Barron lake and whose body was found Friday morning, will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Price and Kiger funeral home with Dr. G.W. Simon, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, officiating.  Interment will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

Overly came to his death as a result of a night boat ride and was not missed until his capsized canoe was found in the weeds near the shoreline off the Hass resort.  The body was found by searchers in eight feet of water about 300 feet from the Sterner resort.

He was last seen alive Thursday night by Lloyd McNeil as the former was walking on the beach in front of his cabin at Shady Shore.

Besides the widow, Mrs. Hannah Overly, the deceased is survived by his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. George Leyser, Deshler, O., three sisters, Mrs. . .[illegible].. O., Mrs. Frank Thompson, Leipsiz, O., and Mrs. Joe Bushong, Deshler; also a half-brother, Kenneth Leyser, Deshler.

The body was removed to the cottage at Barron lake where friends may call until time for the services.
