Mrs. Anna Gorton, 75, Dies After Operation

Mrs. Anna Rosewarne Gorton, 75, wife of Silas Gorton, 739 Hickory street, died in Pawating hospital at 11:30 o'clock Sunday night, following an operation performed last Tuesday.

Mrs. Gorton was a lifelong resident of Niles and vicinity. She was born on a farm 12 miles east of Niles. Many years ago she taught school in Niles. Surviving besides the bereaved husband are two brothers and two sisters, Sidney Rosewarne, Joliet, Ill.; Henry Rosewarne, Niles; Mrs. Georgia Bither, 65 South Third street, Niles, and Mrs. Manny Lovell, Chicago.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Price and Kiger funeral chapel on North Fourth street. The Rev. Harry Nicholson, Episcopal rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Silverbrook cemetery.

The body may be viewed by friends at the Price and Kiger funeral chapel until the hour of the funeral.

GORTON RITES HELD

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Rosewarne Gorton, who died in Pawating hospital Sunday night, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Price and Kiger funeral home with the  Rev. H.L. Nicholson, pastor of the Episcopal church officiating.  Burial was in Silverbrook cemetery.
