Mrs. Elizabeth Mary Wideman, 1098 Huntly Road, died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday in Pawating Hospital, where she had been a patient for one week.
She was born March 7, 1879, in Akron, Ind., and moved to this area from there 50 years ago. Her husband, Isaac Wideman, died in 1929.
She is survived by three sons, George, Russell, and Alvin Wideman, all of Niles; a daughter, Mrs. Louis Schmidt, Berrien Springs; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Estel and Everett Young, both of Niles, and a sister, Mrs. Ira Neiswander, Buchanan.
Friends may call at the Kiger Funeral Home, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Richard Fraser, pastor of the St. John's United Church of Christ (Evangelical and Reformed), officiating. Burial will be in Silverbrook Cemetery.
